Scoring 100000 points in the weekly Nightfall Strike in Destiny 2 will get you a Pinnacle Gear. Here's some pointers to help you achieve that score.

Destiny 2 has a ton of repeatable PvE activities that you can partake in to gain XP, level up the seasonal battle pass, and earn new loot. Strikes are one such three-player activity.

Nightfall Strikes are the more challenging version of Strikes that features tougher enemies (Champions at higher difficulty) and other modifiers.

They can be an exhilarating experience, even more so with the scoring system that lets you track your performance. Scoring over 100K in a single run of Nightfall will reward you with Pinnacle gear, which you will need to increase your power level.

As you may expect, scoring so high in Nightfall isn't easy. Hence, to make things easy for you, here's our guide that explains how to score 100000 points in Destiny 2's Nightfall Strike.

How To Score 100K In Destiny 2 Nightfall Strike

The Nightfall Strike in Destiny 2 features five difficulty options. They are - Adept, Hero, Legend, Master, and Grandmaster. You gain more points at higher difficulty tiers like Legend or Master, which makes it easier to cross the 100K threshold at those tiers.

Unfortunately, matchmaking is disabled for difficulty tiers over Hero, so unless you have a dedicated fireteam, we recommend sticking to the Hero difficulty.

Fortunately, it's possible and frankly easy to score 100000 points in Nightfall strike at Hero difficulty if you take care of a few things.

First things first, we recommend taking a good hard look at all the modifiers present in the Nightfall strike you're planning to play. Every week there is a new Nightfall: The Ordeal Strike with new modifiers.

Managing your loadout according to the given modifiers is essential for raking a high score and making this an easy breathable encounter.

For example, if the 'Match Game' modifier is enabled, the enemy shields will be highly resistant to the unmatched elemental damage. It means if the enemy has an Arc shield, it will be highly resistant to Solar, Void, and Statis damage.

Another important modifier that you should keep an eye out for before starting the Nightfall strike is the Acute Burn.

For example, if the Acute Burn for this week's Nightfall is Arc, it means you can deal +25% Arc damage but also take +50% Arc damage. Customize your loadout according to these modifiers beforehand to gain the upper hand on the battlefield.

The more enemies you kill, the more points you gain. Champion enemies tend to reward the most points, so make sure you and your fireteam take down every single one of those.

Another important thing to keep in mind when running Nightfall Strikes is the time. The longer you take, the lesser your score will be at the end.

The end score in a Nightfall strike is a combination of your personal score and that of your teammates. The time limit before your score starts to drop is twenty minutes, so try and finish the encounter before that.

And that's pretty much it. Following these instructions should let you score 100000 points in Nightfall Strike and get that Pinnacle gear in the process.
